TENNIS NOTES
On Monday afternoon Miss McCormick (scr.) challenged Miss McMurray (5), the holder of the Robinson Ferns, lo a match, and defen led her 45 —23.
On Tuesday afternoon Miss Hawke (10) challenged Miss McCormick (scr.) for the Ferns. The result was a. win for Miss Hawke, the score being 40—32.' The Bulls Club are endeavouring io get a team together to come down and ploy the local club a friendly match next Wednesday, 19th inst. In view of the fact that the Bulls team is a strong one, the local team are requested to practice as much ns possible, the men especially.
Members of (lie Committee arc reminded of the meeting to be held in All -Saints’ schoolroom at 7.30 o’clock this evening. ,
