METHODIST CHURCH.

The Rev. T. R. Richards, chairman of the Hawkes’ Bay-Manawatu district of the Methodist Church, i.s a visitor to Foxton to-day. Under th’e circuit system of the Church of more recent times, Mr Richards possesses the distinction of . being the minister in charge of one circuit for the longest period, the rev! gentleman having just been invited unanimously by his officials to remain in charge of the Napier church for a ninth year. At the invitation of the local minister (Rev. L. Minifie), Mr Richards will preside at the meeting of the Foxton Methodist Quarterly Board Officials to-night.
