TENNIS NOTES.

A Committee meeting was held in All Saints’ Schoolroom on Tuesday evening. Mr R. Slniw presided. Apologies for absence were received from Mr C. Bryant, Mis. 1 ) Hawke, and Miss McCormick. It was decided to insure the pavilion against fire. It was decided to leave the"drawing up of the afternoon tea days in the hands of the ladies’ committee.

The following new members were elected Messrs J. McKnight, H. Frankland, 11. Taylor, C. Procter, and Miss Williams and Mrs Sherwood.

A competition was arranged for the opening day, the trophies to be two pairs of tennis balls for the winning pair. It was decided that the opening commence at 1 pan.

The following are the Match Committee for the current season: — 1 Messrs C. Bryant, R. Shaw, Miss McCormick, and Mrs McMurrav.
