To-nighl. —The following cable was received from Buckingham Palace on June 15th:—“The Prince oil Wales is glad to hear that the official tilm record of bis recent, tour is shortly to be shown in New Zealand, and hopes that these pictures will recall to many the happy times he spent during his first visit.” Such a long travelogue may he expected to flag in interest, but for not one moment is there a dull spell, the photographer, Captain Barker, having spread humorous doings and exciting incidents throughout the picture. Wonderful views of Hie Panama Canal, and of South Sea islands, as never before visited by a camera, arc seen, besides numerous sporting events staged for the Prince. The ship’s officers’ Maori baka, and the crossing of the equator “snaps” arc wonderful comedy. “The Diamond Queen,” a Universal thriller, and one of the greatest animal comedies, Joe Martin in A Jungle Gentleman,” will support the star. Prices, Is Id and 2s Id, children half-price.
