ROYAL PICTURES.

Clara Kimball Young is now being presented in a new feature, “ lhe Forbidden Woman,” a story of a popular Parisian actress whose happiness is nearly wreeken when her lover discovers her identity. All will agree that Miss Young’s latest vehicle is one of the most artistic productions of the year. It has been filmed in an atmosphere of beauty with wonderful scenic backgrounds, rich, sumptuous interiors, and fine lightings enhancing the good dramatic story. In support of the star is Conway Tcarle, whose acting in many .leading roles of: the past have placed him on a plane with the star as a favourite with the public. The remainder of lhe cast is of equally high calibre. The picture presents Miss Young in a story which lils her personality to excellent advantage.

On Monday, a special Paramount Artcraft production, “A Romance of Happy Valley,” featuring Lilian Gish, will be shown. The story is of a country girl, who puts her faith in u city man’s love, and has a great battle to maintain her belief in him during his long absence. However, in time the doubts and cares are smoothed away, and by means of a wealth of detail amid attractive sellings, the story is completed in a manner only to be secured by the renowned I). W. Griffith, who is the producer. The story glows with love and faith and humour, and is a production with a most astounding and heart- wrenching dramatic climax.
