DORCAS SOCIETY
A committee meeting of the above was held yesterday afternoon. Present: Mesdames F. Robinson (in the chair), Barr, A. Ross, Alsop, Walton, Pearson and McMurra.y (bon. secretary). Apology for absence was received from Mrs It. Moore.
- The Secretary reported that five new applications for assistance had been dealt with since the last meeting. and twenty parcels of clothing, boots, etc., had been sent out. Letters conveying thanks for assist-
ance were read. The Society lias now completed a maternity lending bag. Application for use of same may be made to the secretary, Mrs R. McMurray, who will be pleased to give any information desired.
Accounts amounting to £6 18s Gd were passed for payment. The Society desires to thank the following ladies for parcels of leftoff clothing: Mesdames J. H. Robinson, Barr, A. Ross, Admore, Barber senr., Tyer, Alsop, W. E. Barber, F. Robinson.
