“UNDER CRIMSON SKIES.”
To-night.—“ Under Crimson Skies,” a Universal Jewel production, will be shown to-night at the Town Hall, after finishing a brilliant season in Palmerston last night. This story of romance and adventure on the high seas, breathes the atmosphere of famous tales by Robert Louis Stevenson, Jack London, and Rex Beach. The featured player is Elmo Lincoln, the collosus of the screen, remembered in “Tarzon of the Apes.” A terrific physical combat between two human giants, a wonderful night storm on the Pacific, and a South American revolution are only three of the big scenes in this story of Skipper Yank Barstow, whose'boat is used, without his knowledge, ns a smuggling craft, and whose crew are in the pay of the smugglers. The magnificent marine scenery in “Under Crimson Skies” is the finest ever thrown on any screen. The star monkey comedian, Joe Martin, will he seen in “The Jazz Monkey.” Prices, Is and 2s, plus tax, children half-price.
