GRAND CONCERT

The concert in aid of the above c-ause, to be held on Tuesday night, 6th insr., promises to be a huge success. All that is needed to make it such is*a bumper house. The Levin Male Choir and Concert Party, who come here w r ith a great reputation, will supply one-half of the programme, and the following local talent will he assisting: Mesdames Freeman, Bullard, W. McDonald, Misses Upton and Folias, the Convent children and Messrs Head, Poole, Hornblow, Rev. Minifie, and Capt. Tong, also the Fox ton Brass Quartette; accompanist, Miss E. Evans. Tickets now on sale at Mrs Desmond’s, and The Diggers’ Fruit Supply; also at all churches on Sunday next.
