Don’t forget Saturday’s Shop Day. The Committee in charge are out to make the effort a record. Besides the sale of cakes, vegetables, produce, eio., lliere will lie a number of novel guessing competitions. The prize in one ease will be a motor (rip to Wellington. Besides which there will be guessing competitions for sheep and lamb, a dinner, cake, camisole, and other useful articles. Lift-, of all descriptions will be thnnkful}y received by the Committee.

The footballers-are getting interested, and are arranging a spectacular match, married v. singles. if you want a good evening's amusement, take a run out to the Moutoa School to-morrow night, where a social will be held by the Mouto.-j folk.

There are still a number of badges unsold, and the Committee is anxious to quit these this week. Display your practical sympathy by purchasing one and wearing it. Mr Peel, proprietor of the Wan-ganui-Wdlington motor service, has generously donated a return motor trip Foxton to Wellington, to the winner of the competition in aid of the “Help the Mothers’’ fund. Tickets for this competition will bu sold on Saturday at Is each. The Committee desires to sincerely thank Mr Peel for his generous donation.
