A PRISONER ESCAPES.
Auckland, Yesterday
George Cafl’rey, a Norfolk Islander, who jumped from the express bound to' Wellington before it entered the Newmarket tunnel on Saturday, is still at large. He was being taken to Wellington to answer two charges of theft. Caffrey made his escape through a lavatory window.
