“ODDS AND ENDS.”
Singularly enough. “Odds and Ends” is a variant from the accepted nursery-rhyme naming of a pantomime. It is appertaining to pantomime all the same, with all the abounding openings for fun and' frolic. The new company, in all its novelty and splendour, will be produced at the Town Hall on Friday, 2Gth inst., for one night only. The company, positively christened “Odds and Ends,” includes in its ranks the “principal principals” of the Williamson “Sinlmd the Sailor” company, which recently scored such a phenomenal success in its tour of the Dominion. By. arrangement with Messrs J. and N. Tail', under whose management these stars will appear later in the year. They have been released for a short tour of the Dominion with lhe new organisation. At I lie head of the comedy department arc Edglcy and Da we and Dari Agar, Hie three comedians who practically carried “Sinbad” to its cmncdic success. With them are Alys and Florence Wilson, whose captivating dancing was also an outstanding feature of “Sinbad.” Clara Williams and Patsic Hill, who know more about soubretteing than ever any real souhrelte knew, have been allotted capital parts, whilst among singers of sweet songs Cecily Audibert and Walter Williams take a. lot of beating. “Odds and Ends” should command a successful season. The box plan is now open at Heath's.
