LONDON WOOL SALES
Messrs Levin and Co., Ltd., have received the following cable from their London agents, dated 29th July, 1921: “Wool sales have closed firm. As compared with closing prices for June series, merinos are lid per lb. lower; fine crossbreds id per lb. lower; medium crossbreds 2d per lb. lower, and coarse crossbreds ltd per lb. lower. The following arc some of the prices realised: — “E. 5.,” Marlborough, 27 bales half-bred, 113 d, 13 bales three-quarter-bred, llfid; “Otaufri,” Hunterville, 24 bales crossbred, 71d; “Mamaku,” Feilding, 13 bales crossbred, Gjd; “W.J.G.,” Masterton, 9 bales ei’ossbred, 5Jd; “W.8.N.,” Wanganui, 31 bales halfbred, 43d.
