HIGH COMMISSIONER'S CABLE.
The High Commissioner’s cable, dated 23rd instant, reads: — Manila in better request, market steadier. J grade, June-August -to -August October shipments, sold at £35 10s, which is sellers’ present quotation. New Zealand market inactive and unchanged; sellers quote high points spot £4O 10s, July- September shipment £35, fair £35, £32 10s respectively. Prices have tendency downwards.
