BOROUGH FINANCE
The Borough Treasurer reported at last night’s Council meeting as follows: —
During the month of June the .sum of £939 14s lOd was received, and has been placed to.the credit of accounts as follows: District fund account £924 9.s lOd, cemetery account -i'ls 5> Od. The ledger balances at the 30th June, 1921, were as follows: —Imprest cash account £lO, gasworks £199 Is Bd, hospital and charitable aid £37 Is Gd, genera I £OSB 15s sd, reserves £129 Us, Id, interest £227 10s, all at debit, a total of £1,26119s Gd. The accounts at credit were: Cemetery £lO4 3s 4d, contractors’ deposits £172, library £SB 12s, reconstruction £1.230 Gs 5(1, sanitation £154 3s, town hall £73 2s Gd. water and drainage £47 0s lid, a total of .€1,833 8s 2d.
