Good mntai Ift. firewood is advertised for sale, either by the truck or cord, to suit purchasers. A tent and fly, three sheep dogs, and white Leghorn pullets are advertised fox* sale.
Messrs Free and Aldridge, milk vendors, notify that the price of milk, as from July Ist, will be 4d per pint, and 7d per quart. Mr M. H. Walker, of the Ardwiek Poultry Farm, is now prepared to book orders for day-ol<J chicks and batching eggs, from his famous white Leghorn- strain. Prices and further information supplied on application.
On Saturday next, at the mart, Avenue Road, the Foxton Auctioneeifing Coy. will hold their usual sales. At 9.30 a.m. a large quantity of meat will be sold, and the oi’dinary mart sale will be held as usual at 2 p.m. sharp. Further entries for the latter are invited.
A. N. Smith, draper and clothier, has anticipated the requirements of Foxton ladies in the way of traced goods for faneywork, and advertises in his space to-day a number of lines that will indicate the variety of these goods carried. All the wanted shades in fancy cottons and silks also stocked.
