HIGH COMMISSIONER’S
REPORT
The High Commissioner’s cable, dated 25th inst., reads: — Alanila market continues dull. J grade, April-June shipment, quoted at £3G 10s; sellers quoted AlavJune and July-August shipments £36. New Zealand market shows very little change, consumers not interested. Business reported: High points £3B, fair £34 for shipment, but not disclosed whether direct transactions with New Zealand or secondhand sale.
