MANAWATU SHIPPING CO.
A meeting of the Manawatu Shipping Co. was held at Foxton .on Thuresday afternoon, and matters in connection with the s.s. Kennedy were discussed. It was decided to place the vessel on the market. It was stated that the repairs to the Kennedy, as a result of her going ashore at the Heads, would run into £6,500. The matter of adjusting the payment between the company and underwriters is now under consideration.
