THE MUSICAL BLANCHARDS

WEDNESDAY EVENING

It is not often the Foxton theatregoers have the opportunity of seeing two such high-class entertainers as the Musical Blanchards, who will present their melodious turn at the Town Hall to-morrow evening. These artists play with much artistic skill, upon various instruments new to this country, among them being the “tubular harp,’’ an instrument of very rich lone. Organ chime-, silver xylophone-, Russian -leigb and Swiss hand bell-, are also among the big variety of musical instruments. Popular operatic and beautiful harmonised English, Irish and .Scottish airs arc included in the turn. These fine entertainers intro- % duce a dash of comedy into their turn, and both artists have a decidedly engaging stage presence. In addition to the Musical Blanchard-, the five-reel Paramount feature, “Jailbirds,” with Douglas Maclean in the leading role, will be presented. This is a line comedy story by the same artists as “23] liour.s Leave" and “Mary's Ankle." The whole of this fine evening’s entertainment will be at the popular prices of 2s and Is, plus tax, children half-price.
