The triumph achieved by Alice Joyce in the big Yitngraph special, “Within the Law,” will not ,be readily forgotten by picture patrons. Her characterisation was declared by critics to be an even more finished piece <>f emotional acting than had been seen on the stage — even by the famous who had played the part. And when these critics assert that the work of Miss Joyce in her latest production “The Song of the Soul," is her best to date, they are giving big praise indeed. And the statement is perfectly true —for Alice Joyce as Ann Fenton is seen in a role that exactly suits her —an appealing, emotional. dramatic part, a part also that reveals tier remarkable versatility. The drama is a powerful story of a woman's fight to win back her honour and happiness. It is full of strong inrerest, and will be keenly appreciated both because of its story and its star. “The Soiig of the Soul” will be screened at the Royal to-morrow and Thursday,
