The Government Meteorologist vires as follows: The indications are for freshening northerly winds strong to gale, and backing by west to south after 2-1 hours. The weather appears likely to be cloudy and unsettled; rain probable. Barometer, falling. Seas moderate, tides good; sea increasing in Straits.
