SALVATION ARMY.

The Harvest Thanksgiving services in connection with the local corps on Sunday were well attended. Major Mu can lay, of headquarters staff, conducted the services, both in the open-air and in the hall. The services were very bright. Last night the gifts were Dutch-auctioned, and it clearance effected. During the evening a programme of vocal and instrumental items were rendered, which were much appreciated. A otes of thanks were accorded to the performers, and to all who had assisted to make the effort a success.
