LEVIN-MARTON RAILWAY LEAGUE.

A meeting of the above League was held in the Town Hall supperroom yesterday, Sir James Wilson presiding. Representatives were present from Hie Rangitike'i, Mannwatu and Horowhenua counties, Foxton and Levin Borough Councils and Chambers of Commerce. Mr W. 18. Field, M.P., was also in attendance, and apologies for absence were received from Messrs Ed. Newman and Glenn, M's.P, The proceedings were not open to the press, but we are informed that several important resolutions were carried.
