WEDDING.
SPELMAN—HOARE
The wedding was celebrated recently at St. Peter’s Church, Willis Street, Wellington, of Miss Ida Miriam Hoare, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs G. P. Hoare, of A ellington, and Mr Fred Spelman, of Wellington, younger son of Mrs M. Spehnan, of Palmerston North, and late of Foxton. The bride, who was given away hv her lathe)*, wore a frock of ivory crepe do chine with shadow lace and a train of satin lined with shell pink and embroidered in pearls with true-lovers knots and orange blossoms. Her bouquet was of sweet peas and roses. There were four bridesmaids, Miss Hilda Iloarc and Miss Terry Spelman, who wore frocks of pale green georgette, with large black tulle hats, and carried bouquets of heliotrope sweet peas; also two little maids, Betty Hoare and Betty M’Connell, of Hastings, in frocks of pearl pink georgette and crepe de chine, carrying posies of hydrangeas. Mr A. Speirs, of Foxton, was best man, and Mr Nelson Daly was groomsman. Mr and Mrs Spelman left for a tour by the southern boat. The bride s travelling costume was fawn coloured, with a large violet hat.
