Durg-nvi ile, Yestevday. At a special meeting of the Borough Council last night, Saturday was appointed ns the statutory luilf-holiday. Wednesday was the previous luilf-holiday. ~ ALLEGED BODILY HARM. THE ADDINGTON INCIDENT. Christchurch, Jan. 28. Richard Hitchens, whom the police have been seeking for sonic days in connection with the attack on Raymond Rnplcy, who is n,ow in a serious condition in the ( liristchurcli Hospital suffering from a wound inflicted by a razor, gave himself up at the police station this morning. He later appeared at the Magistrate’s Court charged with attempting grievous bodily luurn on Raymond Bapley by wounding him at Addington on January 24th. On the request of the police the case was'adjourned until lehruary 4th.
