METHODIST CHURCH

The quarterly meeting of the nl.ove was held in the church on the 19th inst. Rev. Mr Harding presided over a fair attendance. Routine business was discussed and dealt with. It was decided to hold the harvest festival towards the end of Alarcb, and to make it, if possible, u record success. The circuit stewards weic re-elected for the ensuing year, and accorded a hearty vote of thanks for past services. Air John Chrystall was appointed delegate to the conference to be held in ellington next month.

After tlie business of the evening had concluded, the ladies provided supper, for which they were accorded a hearty vote of thanks.
