The local campaign in aid of the above fund concluded on Sunday. J( honsisted of a picture entertainment last Friday, a simp day conducted by the Girls' Guild on Saturday, ami church collect ions on Sunday. The simp day was a most successful affair, realising a tola I .•tf C 54 odd. The retiring collect ions at the various churches totalled over £lO on Sunday, added to which wore special donations of £1 from the Methodist Sunday School and 10s from the teachers.
