Sir. —I was informed that it had been stated as an argument against the recent appeal tor assistance towards the “Bave Ihe Children Fund ’ that there were several eases needing assistance in I oxton. Could \ou inform me through your paper if such is the ease, as I will be pleased to a.-si.-i. When I .asked my informant for definite information it could not he given.
