LYRIC COSTUME COMEDY COMPANY.
The above company paid a return visit lo Foxtail last night atul was greeted by a fair and appreciative audience. The merit oi' the entertainment would have justilied a. full house. The Lyric quartet te,. Messrs Ripley, Richards. McLhvain and Ryan, in their'unaccompanied singing produced an efled in wellbalanced harmony that was well nigh perfection in true vocal harmony. Their numbers ranged from humorous to classic and (bey provided a real feast of good tiling's. Their solo items were also first class. Xo straining for effect, and the enunciation was perfect. Mr McLlwain is a clever humorist and kepi Ihe audience in a happy mood with his recitals. Miss Bartlett's rich ’contralto voice was heard to advantage both in solo and duet. Miss Doreen McClatehie was much appreciated in her suite's and dancing. The entertainment as a whole was high class and versatile and absolutely free .from any suggestion of vulgarity. One of the best entertainments of its kind that has vet visited Foxtail.
