A CHINAMAN’S DEATH.
The Dunedin police have keen advised that a Chinaman named Sue Pin. a rahhiler, was found dead in his hut at Blackball, in the Panfurly district, on Saturday mommy. The marks on the body arc of such a character as to arouse the suspicion that the man. who lived alone in the hut, has been the victim of foul play. Mr F. C. Levvey, S.M., will hold an inquest on the body. In the meantime ChiefDetective Bishop, Detective Beer, and Seryeanl Nelson have yone up to investigate the matter. Dunedin, Yesterday. An inquest was held on the body, n,y Sue Pin. the ayed Chinaman who was found dead in his Iml al Blackball. near Hanfurly. After heariny medical evidence, Ihe Cormier returned a verdict that the cause of death was apoplexy, caused by the i apture of a diseased blood vessel in the brain. The doctor said that in his opinion the mark on the forehead had been caused hy the deceased falliny and strikiny some hard substance after hemorrhaye of the lira in had commenced.
