Tlii.s great sequel to “The Sentimental Bloke,” as told by his cobber, which has been produced by Mr Raymond Longford for Mr E. J. Carroll, is a cleverly woven combination of the scenes and incidents in C. d. Dennis’ famous poem. It is brimming 1 full of spontaneous humour, real human life, and appealing sentiment. The sub-titles arc immense, and the decorations characteristic and in good taste. The innumerable scenes and incidents from the slums of Sydney to the heights of Gallipoli will stir the emotions of every true heart by their beauty and realism. Whether to the man of literary instincts who looks for form and manipulation of wording, with appropriate illustrations, or the man avlio wishes to have a good hedrty laUgh,Jii.s emotions stirred, and his sense of life and character quickened, “Ginger Mick” will have an equal charm. It is a Him epic in six superlative reels that will appeal to all ages, high and low, rich and poor alike. Special music accompanies the picture, ■which will be screened to-night.
To-morrow night, “Greater Love Hath No Man,” a vivid and beautiful story of a magnificent sacrifice will be screened. It is a forceful presentation by a line performer of a strong man’s sacrifice. The leading role is taken by one of England’s foremost actors, Emmett Corrigan.
