The Prime Minister has received a cable from Sir Thomas- Mackenzie to Hie following effect: — “Letter received from the Minisiry of Food to the ell’eel that they are now in a position to open negotiations for the purchase of next season’s New Zealand but ter.” The Prime Minister will get into (ouch with the butter producers in view of this offer.
