RIFLE SHOOTING.
Lasl Saturday the second shoo! for the Collinson vases was held, at ranges of 500 and GOO yards. There was a good attendance of members, the weather being brilliant and breezy. The low sun, which has always been troublesome on this range, was very bad, and the scores suffered. Owing to darkness, three competitors had to postpone their shoots at (500 yards until next Thursday. The scores were as follows : ' Yds. Yds. 500 000 Hep. Tl. .1.. Claris 22 10 ,22 G 3 C. Barnard 27 25 10 (52 J. Hartley 25 35 1 (51 S. Head ’ 20 24 7 GO W. Symons 25 17 1(5 58 H. McKegncy 31 23 2 50 C. Rand 21 22 11 . 54 4. Rider 28 1G 8 52 11. Frankland 31 H. Haipor . 27 , A. Barnard 2G The last throe men will complete (heir shoot next Thursday morning. On Saturday next the lasl shoot for the vases will be fired, at ranges of 200 and 300 yards.
