The programme screened last night will be repeated to-night. The rare and statuesque beauty of Clara Kimball ’Young is seen in an ideal setting in ‘‘Magda,” the star’s latest drama on the screen, to he shown to-morrow night. On Saturday night a- special supeifcaturc will be shown at ordinary prices. This is the" greatest of all the Rex Beach productions, “Heart of the Sunset,” a thrilling,; virile, vital drama of love and action and heroic daring. A picture-of-a thousand thrills, acted by the greatest caste ever assembled to picturise a celebrated novel.
On Monday night the iong-looked-Cor “Riders of the Purple Sage,” the piciurisalion of Za.ne Grey’s famous novel, will be screened. The story deals with several startling incidents that occurred in Utah, in the early days of the Mormon settlement. Beginning with the abduction, of a girl by one of the powerful dignitaries of Ihe Mormon Church, the picture reveals the hunt of the girl’s brother through the years for the man who wronged her, the tremcn-dou.-gpower of the elders of the cult, over their followers, and the final accounting at the hands of Lassiter.
