Docs (he Liberal Parly really mVan to convey the impression that Mr Pirani is their forlorn hope' Has Mr Pirani a hankering after the portfolio of Minister of education? K so, Avhat sort of administration would he indicted on the people when one remembers how he abused his office as Chairman of the Wanganui Board and in defiance of' the Act, and contrary to the canon of good taste, took charge -of a meeting of .Fox lon householders, in order to assist a frame-up which Avas a disgrace to public affairs, and when challenged with his conduct hy a FoNlon deputation at the Board meeting, had the cool effrontery to admit lie had made a mistake,’but refused to right a wrong. From this line of conduct, Avhat could the public expect to happen if he Avere elected to Parliament, to those unfortunate enough to come under his control as Minister of Education?
