FINED FOR PUBLISHING DIVIDENDS.
Auckland, Oct. 31. In the Police Court, Samuel Nelson vim fined £2O and cost* on a charge of publishing information concerning race dividends. Other charges were withdrawn. Detective M’Malion stated that accused was evidently operating, in a big way. He received all the results and dividends, and was evidently in the habit of handing out information by means of market cards and race programmes.
