(To the Editor.) Six’. —In reference to the accident which happened to a little girl at the school daring the luncheon hour last Tuesday, could you inform me. whether it is compulsory for a teacher to be in charge of the children during'such time, and whether one was on duty on the day the accident happened 1 ? —Yours, etc., PARENT. [Up tp the time of the destruction of the school, teachers were appointed in charge during recess periods, according to regulations. Owing to the scattered classes since the disorganisation, the playground has not been used to any extent during the luncheon recess. We understand that children were warned by the contractors and staff.not to play about the new building.—Ed. H.]
