There is no improvement to report in the hemp market. No inquiries are being received, London being quite indifferent. Hemp 7,395 10,114 Tow 1,412 3,42(5 Gradings for 12 months ended dOth April, 1919, were 129,878 bales, as compared with 167,595 for the previous 12 months, a falling off of 38,217 hales. Tow graded for the 12 months was 19,539 hales, a decrease of 17,522 hales, compared with the previous 12 months.
