There was a good attendance of players on the loeal. green yesterday afternoon, and some-very, interesting play resulted. The green played well. A match was played for the Nye Ferns, (lie challenging rink being composed of the four oldest men in the club, their aggregate ages totalling 283 years, an average* of almost 71 years each. The result of the game was a win for the Challengers by a margin of seven points. The following are the details ; Henderson Bryant Spring Healey D. Whihley' Admore Rimmer (s) 20 Hawke (s) 13 The new holders have been challenged by Raine, Hawke, F, Wk.ihley, Nye (s). The local Club intend paying a visit to Podding shortly, with live rinks, and the Foilding club has been asked to suggest a suit a tile date. The Podding Club now holds all the chief challenge trophies, including the Dixon and Munson and Burr Cups, and Ainslie Shield.
