The Borough Treasurer reported as follows at last night's Council meeting: — t Tho sum of £302 Ills lid was received during the month of September and placed to credit as under: District fund account £389 0s lid, cemetery account £3 10s fid. The balances of the various funds at the Bank of Mew Zealand as at the 30th September, 1018, were as follows; District fund account, debit, £l,lOB 0 -Id; cemetery account, credit, £2(l Is Id; and the ledger balances at the same dale as follows: Cemetery £2O Is Id, hospital and charitable aid £22 15s Id, library 0s (Id, reserves £SO 3s Bd, sanitation £153 -Is 2d, Town Hall £llß 15s sd, Whivokino bridge interest £ll 3d, Shannon bridge £l2 17s lid, Council chamber £ll 13s lid, Whirokino bridge additions interest £lB 2s Bd, roads and streets Mo. 2 interest £0 15s sd, Beach road interest £3 Ss od, all in.credit, a total of £447 10s 7d.
