Sir. —“WV wink at wags when they offend.” But your anonymous wag says too much, and you have permitted him to carry his humour too far. I take exception to Ihe epithet, and loathe to consider the bell again, even to hail a further proclamation, on request. True, Sir, our firehell is the only firefighting appliance we possess, but, like the anonymous article, it “says a lot and does nothing.” —I am, etc., J. 6.
