LADIES’ SEWING GUILD.
The Ladies’ Guild have just forwarded another large ' ease to London, containing 224 garments for the poor of Belgium. Practically all these garments were made by the Guild members, the outside public contributing very few garments. The Guild would be pleased to receive at any time serviceable garments for the Belgian box. This part of the Guild’s work should appeal to all. Apart from the above, (he Guild has forwarded to Wellington daring July and August the following:— For the Red Cross.—Four pairs pyjamas, 9 head-caps, 21 swabs, 9 pairs h.k. sox, 3 Hannel shirts, 2 hospital shirts, 4 Hannel underpants. For the Countess of Liverpool Committee: Four dozen housewives, 2 dozen holdalls, 3 dayshirts, 18 muslin shirts, 10 shirts, G pairs h.k. gloves, 21 pairs h.k. sox.
