WEDDING.

A pretty wedding took place in the Methodist Church on Good Friday, the contracting parties being Mr P. J. Petersen, of Levin, and Miss Gertrude Jones, of Foxton. The bride, who was “given away” by Mr E. Walker, was attired in tv Shantung costume, with hat to match, and carried a pretty bridal bouquet. She was attended by Miss Walker as bridesmaid, who wore a white voile dress and black hat. Mr W. Cooper was best man. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. A. Harding. The wedding breakfast was partaken of at the residence of Mrs Ruback, Coley Street. Mr and Mrs Petersen left in the afternoon for a short honeymoon, after which they will lake up their residence in Levin.
