BOWLING.
A local rink journeyed to Levin yesterday afternoon to meet the holders of the Kinniburg Feathers. After a very close and. exciting finish, both rinks being equal on the 21st head, an extra head was played, the holders winning by the narrow margin of one point. The following are the rinks and scores; — 1 Levin. Foxton. Ingram Large Roe Christie Porteous D, Whibley Pike (s) 23 Rimmer (s) 22 The vistors were very hospitably entertained. Rain showers somewhat interfered with the game.
Two rinks are coming from Olakr on Saturday. Local rinks to play same will be selected at to-night’s committee meeting.
