BOWLING.
The attendance of a large number of visiting howlers on the local green on Wednesday next is assured. Up till last night IS members of flie Palmerston ‘North CluhlidA signified their intention of making the trip, and (here is every prospect of that number being increased. It is expected that the Feilding, Termite End, Shannon and Levin Clubs will also be represented by at least one rink each, so it is likely the whole green will ho fully occupied. Play will commence at 9 o’clock in the morning, and with intervals for morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea, will continue ail day. Members of the local Club who wish to take part in the play should put their names on the hoard provided for the purpose at the green not later than Monday, as the Foxtou rinks will he arranged til a meeting of the committee on Monday night. The following are Iho results of further ladder games played during the week: Crawley 18 heat Lai’ge 14, Rimmcr 18 heal I l ’. Whihley 10 } and Barr 21 heat Jackson 10.
