DEATH WHILE UNDER AN ANAESTHETIC.
Hokitika, Yesterday. An inquest was held to-day on a Chinaman who died in the Westland Hospital .on Saturday when being prepared for a nasal operation. Before he was fully under the influence of the anaesthetic the patient ceased hrcuthiqg, fhoiigh' 'lns pqlse regained gootj. to Restore respirafiofl fail e d* Qeath was attributed to respiratory failure from no knovfu cause. A verdict of accidental death was returned.
