Nfmyly 12,0Qft soldiers have returned {o New Zealand, and of this nmqbey, according 1° the register o| the Discharged Soldiers’ Information Department, 4,350 had either work to return to, and have re-en-listed, or returned to military duty; 2,098 have been placed in employment, and 2,319 intimated that they did not require assistance. On the 39th November, 41 names appeared on the “Employment Wanted Register,” in Auckland, 10 in Taranaki, and 13 in Dunedin, but it was noted that in the case of Auckland the majority of the men had listed recently. There were at the date mentioned only four men seeking employment in Wellington.
