TOWN CLERK’S REPORT.

The Town Clerk reported us follows at Monday 'night’s Council meeting:— ‘T heg jo report that the road stall has been engaged on the work of metalling the following streets during the past month, viz., Wharf Street, Russell Street, Park Street, Sandoa Road and Ravensworth Place. Two hundred and forty yards of river gravel, and one hundred and seventy yards of quarry metal has been spread during the present season, and the road stab, will be engaged with this work until all the metal ordered is delivered.''’
