INTERESTING RETURN. ANGLICANS HEAD THE LIST. A return laid on the table of the House of Representatives yesterday gives the number and religious denomination men who have left Now Zealand with the Expeditionary Forces up to and including the 2. r )(h Reinforcements. The return states that 71,821 men who have gone to the front, of whom 1,470 are soldiers who have returned to New Zealand on duty on sick leave, have their religion- denomination classed as follows: — Church of England 33,700 Presbyterian 10,131 Roman Catholic 8,711 Methodist 3,002 Wesleyan 1,311 Baptist • 822 Protestant 010 Congregational 807 Salvation Army 272 Church of Christ 100 Plymouth Brethren 110 Lutheran 125 Jewish 03 Mormon 53 Nonconformist 50 Agnostic 17 Unitarian 39 Freethinkers 30 Atheist 19 wjSpiritualist 12 ' Theosophist 12 <p> Rationalist.-- 10 • Seventh Day Adventists 9 Episcopalian 9 Quaker 7 Christadepkians 6 Greek Church 3 >■*.
