All the councillors of the Martou Borough publish a signed letter in to-day’s Advocate calling upon the Mayor (Mr Wilson) to justify his action in resigning from all committees, or to resign from the mayoralty. The position arises through a conflict hchvccn the caretaker of the Town Hall and the Mayor on Anniversary Day; The Mayor at last council meeting moA'ed a resolution suspending the caretaker, who is also lessee of the hall, which was lost by Jive votes to tAvo. The Mayor then resigned from all committees.
