Ai In.-i night's Borough Council meeting Cr AlcAiurray moved, ;md Cr Stevenson seconded, the following resolution: “That the General Manager of Railways be written to pointing out that the afternoon trains under the new time-table on Mondays and Fridays miss connection with the Alain Trunk express at Palmerston X. by a matter of five minutes only, and that he be asked to arrange these two trains so that Foxton would have at least two connections with the Alain Trunk express on two days per week/-’ The motion was carried unanimously.
